About AutismUGA
AutismUGA is a student run organization at The University of Georgia created to; increase awareness of autism and its effects on families and individuals, to serve the Northeast Georgia autism community through community outreach at local schools and events, and to raise funds to be donated to local organizations which benefit individuals and families impacted by autism.
The organization was founded in 2008 by a very dedicated group of individuals. It all started with a group of friends who had a vision and a dream of being able to serve local families effected by autism and of being able to raise awareness for autism. Today, we serve over 20 families on a monthly basis, are able to donate funds to several local summer camps and projects which benefit children and individuals with autism, and volunteer in multiple year round programs. Although we are an organization at UGA, we are very involved in the community and welcome anyone who is interested to join.

Hello AutismUGA,
I am just wondering when your foundation, to help autism, was established, who it was etablished by, and why it was? It would be amazing to hear back from you!
